Program Highlights

 

  1. Master 45 new collegiate vocabulary words with proper pronunciation and apply to proper context
  2. Properly pronounce English vowels and consonants with American accent
  3. Present to a small group on a topic of interest with proper pronunciation, new vocabulary and American accent
  4. Attend and participate in mock interviews with minimal pauses and correct pronunciation
  5. Initiate and participate in conversations in a school/personal and/or work/professional environment

 

  • Learn techniques to correct improper pronunciation of English vowels and consonants
  • Increase your vocabulary to include specific sets of words to enhance conversations in both personal and professional settings
  • Become familiar with school entrance interviews, as well as professional business interviews by role-playing scenarios with professionals
  • Improve your presentation skills using the English language as your mode of delivery
  • Reduce the prominence of your foreign accent with that of an American accent

 

  • Each student will take a diagnostic exam to assess current English level
  • Each students curriculum will be individualized based upon the students academic goals
  • 60 Hour Total
  • 5 day session work week
  • 3 to 5 Hours a day (15 hours per weekly)
  • 1-on-1 Instruction Projects and Presentations assigned for out-of-class work

Prerequisites:

Students must be able to show a foundational understanding of English and must place in upper beginning to intermediate level during the diagnostic assessment.

It's also important that students have access to a stable high-speed Internet connection (at minimum 356 kbps of bandwidth).

Who is this program for?

This program is not for everyone, only committed students who are willing to dedicate the time necessary to be successful should enroll.

Expected Commitment:

In addition to the 60 hour program, students are expected to practice their English at least 2 to 3 hours a day. This is a commitment that a student must agree to before enrolling in the program.
